Title
Performance evaluation of bandwidth allocation algorithms under heavy nonuniform traffic in wireless networks
Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the performance of bandwidth reservation scheme under heavy nonuniform traffic in cellular network. We consider three kinds of bandwidth reservation schemes: reservation of constant amount, reservation of a certain fraction of desired bandwidth not considering the traffic pattern and that considering the traffic pattern. By computer simulation, we evaluate the call blocking probability of these schemes.
