Abstract | ||

In this paper, we investigate the performance of bandwidth reservation scheme under heavy nonuniform traffic in cellular network. We consider three kinds of bandwidth reservation schemes: reservation of constant amount, reservation of a certain fraction of desired bandwidth not considering the traffic pattern and that considering the traffic pattern. By computer simulation, we evaluate the call blocking probability of these schemes. |
