Title
Analyses of Interferences between Component Carriers in Carrier Aggregation
Abstract
Support of wider bandwidth up to 100MHz is one of the key features for LTE-Advanced system. Carrier aggregation (CA) has been studied as major a solution. As to continuous carrier aggregation, there may be an interference between component carriers (CCs), and we need to analyze and evaluate the interference to optimize the system. This article first gives a brief review of carrier aggregation technology, followed by analyzing the factors of interference including the Doppler frequency shift, the spurious emissions and out-of-band emission, the setting of sub-carriers and the frequency offset in transmitter. In addition, the simulation of frequency offset on SER performance is discussed.
