Title
Evaluating foreign investment environment in China: A systematic approach
Abstract
To successfully develop a region's or country's economy, policy-makers have to utilize foreign investments. To attract the right foreign investors, the host has to understand not only the investors, but more importantly its own investment environment. This article presents a practical method for evaluating investment environment from the viewpoint of a host region or country. A real Chinese case was analysed by applying this method. The evaluation method is recommended not only to China, but also to those countries having investment environments similar to China's.
