Abstract | ||

We analyze rigorously the drainage equation (d(3)Phi/d tau(3) + 1)Phi(3) = 1. It is known that all solutions that do not satisfy Phi -> 1 as tau -> infinity are oscillatory. They oscillate with increasing amplitude as tau -> infinity. We state and make rigorous the precise asymptotic description of these oscillations. |
