Efficient multithreaded user-space transport for network computing: design and test of the TRAP protocol
Abstract
We present a novel user-space and transaction-oriented protocol for use in high-performancedistributed computing applications. The TRAP protocol is designed to support low-latencycommunication in multithreaded message-passing libraries.
