Abstract | ||

Dincer [1] applied artificial neural networks (ANNs) to derive new prediction models for deformation modulus and coefficient of subgrade reaction of compacted soils. The models were developed upon several plate load, proctor and sand-cone test results on different soil types. This discussion paper presents controversial points regarding the reliability and applicability of the presented ANN models. |
