Title
Research on transport property of carbon nanotube based device.
Abstract
The carrier transport in carbon nanotube is studied using the nonequilibrium Green's function with the self-consistent approximation methods. The model provides the basis for ATK software to simulate the electron transfer characteristics. The I-V characteristic of the carbon nanotube based device was simulated with ATK software. The electrical properties of the device formed by individual nanotube between metal electrodes were characterized at room temperature by measuring current. Those results show that the qualitative features of the simulated I-V characteristics agree with the experimental work, which provide the new theoretical methods for the development of canbron nonotube based device. © 2011 IEEE.
