A portable implementation of UNITY on von Neumann machines
Abstract
This paper presents the results of our efforts to develop portable software for the translation and execution of programs in UNITY (Chandy and Misra, Parallel Program Design—A Foundation . Addison-Wesley, Reading, MA; 1988). We study the issues involved in the mapping of UNITY programs to sequential architectures.
