Title
Comments on “Performance Analysis of Amplify-and-Forward Opportunistic Relaying in Rician Fading”
Abstract
It has been pointed out that the asymptotic SER formula of the opportunistic relaying derived by B. Maham is erroneous. The correct SER approximation is therefore presented. It is concluded that opportunistic relaying provides the coding gain in high SNR of R! times less as compared with the repetition-based cooperation. The simulations are also conducted to substantiate the corrected SER formula.
