Let M-1, M-2, ..., M-n be 3-connected restrictions of a 3-connected matroid M on disjoint ground sets E-1, E-2, ..., E-n, respectively. This paper proves that M has a 3-connected minor N that contains E-1 boolean OR E-2 boolean OR ... boolean OR E-n, has its restriction to each E-i being M-i, and has at most 2n - 2 additional elements. |
