We suggest that a recently proposed model for finding hazardous materials routes may be inappropriate. The model violates a monotonicity axiom for path evaluation and selection models. We give small numerical examples, where this violation results in the selection of solutions that may be quite undesirable in the context of hazardous materials routing. |
