Title
Block decoupling of generalized state space systems
Abstract
The problem of input-output block decoupling of generalized state space systems, via a regular static state feedback law, is studied for the first time. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the problem to have a solution are established. The necessary and sufficient conditions for block decoupling with simultaneous stabilizability, and the necessary and sufficient conditions for block decoupling with simultaneous arbitrary assignment of the system poles are established. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
