This paper presents a novel dual-mode tunable bandpass filter to significantly reduce the complexity for multiband communication. A mixed coupling scheme is utilized to analysis and design the dual mode tunable filter with source - load coupling. A simple approach is proposed to extract the parameters of varactor diode. For demonstration, a tunable filter is implemented with 73 MHz 3-dB bandwidth. Experimental results agree with simulated predications well. |
