In general, the recording time of a VCR with an SP (standard play) head is at most 3 hours on a T-180 tape. This paper describes an advanced VCR technology with an ULP (ultra long play) mode whose recording time is 15 hours on the tape, which is 5 times longer than the SP mode. |
