We propose a comprehensive Object Oriented distribution design relying on an exhaustive use of OO paradigm: methods, which determine data usage and are explicitly specified in the database model, are used as guidelines for both determining fragments and calculating measures for allocation. This is done by constructing a navigation model based on an abstraction of the graph of objects on which the cost model is based. We propose a distribution methodology which aims to reduce the cost of OO fragmentation and allocation, to generate structured, coherent and autonomous units of data distribution. |
