Title
QoS-based scheduling algorithm for downlink multi-traffic in ultra high throughput WLAN
Abstract
In order to improve the performance of high-speed wireless communication system, many scheduling algorithms focus only on the scheduling characteristics, while not sufficiently consider the quality of service (QoS) requirements. In this paper, we propose a QoS satisfaction based multi-traffic scheduling algorithm with genetic algorithm, which is aimed at maximization of QoS satisfaction, considering the traffic quality of service and channel conditions together. Combined with the genetic algorithm is effective in reducing the computational complexity. Simulation result shows that, compared with several other algorithms, the proposed algorithm achieved more ideal satisfaction in aspects of delay, data rate, packet loss and so on. © 2012 IEEE.
