Abstract | ||

A simulation model of crowd evacuation based on the cellular automata is introduced. The implementation on GPU is focused in details. This model takes advantage of GPU to complete part of computing by certain allocation. Taking Guangzhou Tianhe stadium as an example, the model shows that the performance of computing has been significantly improved by parallel computing technique of GPU, which obtained nearly 15 times speed-up. © 2012 IEEE. |
