This paper is concerned with a fault-detection and control problem for discrete-time switched systems, which are modeled using different operating points for the flight envelope. The fault detector and controller designed simultaneously have asynchronous switching with the original switched system. For the fault-detection objectives, estimation errors between residual signals and faults are minimized by applying weighted matrices to restrict the frequency ranges of faults, and the weighted l(2)-gain performance is simultaneously considered for the control objectives. A two-step procedure is adopted to obtain solutions through satisfying a set of linear matrix inequalities. A simulation on the longitudinal motion of a highly maneuverable aircraft technology vehicle is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. |
