Reduction of kinetic models using dynamic sensitivities.
Abstract
•New model reduction algorithms based on dynamic sensitivity analysis are developed.•Impulse parametric sensitivity analysis (iPSA) reveals the dynamical importance of reactions.•Green's function matrix (GFM) reveals the dynamical importance of species.•The reduction is automated using a performance metric that measures the minimum Euclidean distance between the origin and model size – error front.•The best methods use iPSA or sequential reductions using iPSA and GFM.
