Fractional repetition (FR) codes are a special class of regenerating codes characterized by the exact and uncoded repair property. In this work, we propose an explicit method to construct FR codes from combinatorial configurations. The proposed construction gives FR codes with parameters that are not covered by prior approaches. © 2014 IEEE. |
