Title
Experiences and advances of electronic government in Latin America
Abstract
The use of e-government in the public sector has created great expectations among countries. However, the degree of development and the challenges posed by the implementation of such initiatives, varies from country to country. Although much has been published on the status of e-government in Anglo Saxon countries and in Europe, little has been written on the same subject in Latin America. This workshop will provide the opportunity for both researchers and practitioners to explore the particularities of the implementation of these initiatives in Latin America and will offer the opportunity to present interesting topics for future research and collaboration.
