In this paper we address the problem of automaticallytracking moving text in digital videos. Our scheme consists of two separateprocesses: monitoring which detects the new text line entering aframe, and tracking which uses prediction techniques to reconcile thetext from frame to frame. Temporal consistency allows us to conductmonitor periodically and reduce the computation complexity. The trackingprocess uses a rapid prediction/search scheme to update the positionof the text blocks... |
