3D beamforming is an important technic to enhance system capacity, in future communication system. However, with the rapid development of high speed data services, unexpected growth of traffic could develop in beams and create regional traffic congestion. Conventional hot-spot traffic relief methods do not apply to 3D beamforming network, it is necessary to study the hot-spot traffic relief problem in the new networking scenario. In this paper, we introduce the method of offloading in heterogeneous network, propose a new offloading model and first develop a single step traffic offloading algorithm to solve single hot-spot problem in 3D beamforming network. Furthermore, we develop the single step algorithm into multi-step based on Dijkstra Algorithm in order to resolve large-scale regional traffic overload. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can efficiently improve the maximum throughput of target hotspot beam, whether the overload is in single beam or regional. |
