Title
Adaptive spectral reflectance recovery using spatio-spectral support from hyperspectral images
Abstract
Accurate knowledge of spectral reflectance is crucial for hyperspectral image analysis. We propose a novel spectral reflectance recovery method by adaptive spatio-spectral support. The proposed technique is evaluated in both simulated and real illumination scenarios. A multi-illuminant hyper-spectral scene database has been collected and made publicly available. Experiments show that the adaptive illuminant estimation reduces the mean angular error of recovered spectra by 13%.
