Tablet computer shipments exceeded PC shipments in 2013, according to projections from the International Data Corporation. The modern wave of these sleek mobile devices provides us new ways to check our e-mail, surf the Web, read books, play games, watch movies and television, run an ever-expanding list of applications, and even do some productive work. The varying needs of consumers in an expanding market are creating new types of tablet computers with different screen sizes and application capabilities. At the same time, the power of tablet computer applications is dependent on the availability of highly efficient digital resources in remote data centers. |
