A common trend in power management systems is miniaturization of the system size while maintaining efficiency and maximizing battery life. The results of this trend are higher switching frequencies, smaller external components, and more integration of components onto the IC. These results pose many challenges in the design of both switching and linear power supply circuits and the papers in this session address many of these challenges. |
