Title
Geospatial data object modeling for the integration of remote sensing and GIS
Abstract
The recent developments in informatics, including those in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), have led to a wide use of the concept of modeling to describe the interrelationship between entities. In this article the reader is acquainted with the concepts involved, and it is maintained that the integration of remote sensing and GIS technology can benefit from object data modeling.
