Title
Simulation of fixed-point operations with high-level languages
Abstract
A method for simulating fixed-point two's-complement arithmetic operations with high-level programming languages is presented. It is based on the use of positive integers that are in correspondence with the bit combination of the binary number that would appear in the real system. Fortran procedures are given in the Appendix.
