This paper presents the design of a full-duplex 2400-bit/sec vocoder which implements an LPC-10 algorithm in real time. A single commercially available digital signal processor IC, the TMS32010, is used to perform the digital processing. The TMS32010 code for this vocoder has been run on a software simulator and has been found to be within the real-time constraints of the vocoder design. |
