Title
BOOTSTRAP: a software process assessment and improvement methodology
Abstract
The value of software process assessment and improvement has already been recognized for some time. Initiatives such as SEI or ISO 9001/9000-3 have selectively addressed the needs of software engineering community. BOOTSTRAP is an assessment and improvement methodology which addresses perhaps the widest sample of software producing organizations (SPUs). It offers integrated methods and tools for assessment and improvement applicable to an extensive selection of SPUs
