In high-speed wireless local area network (WLAN) systems, the degradation of the transmission quality by multipath fading is a significant problem. A sector antenna is one of techniques for solving this problem. We propose a small and planar tilt-beam antenna and a rectangular-type 6-sector arrangement in this paper. The proposed antenna is based on the open end square antenna (OESA) with a reflector and two detour elements, and the proposed 6-sector arrangement is in a rectangular configuration of 10.6 mm × 44 mm at 25 GHz band. |
