This paper describes an intelligent approach to representing uncertainly specified time periods applicable particularly to historical content. It is based on using the operational conceptual modelling language OCML [Reusable Components for Knowledge Modeling]. An example of a temporal inconsistency in data annotated by means of temporal ontology is given that can be found using the prototype implementation of this approach. |
