Title
Integrating uncertain preferences into status quo analysis: an environmental conflict case study
Abstract
An algorithm is proposed to conduct status quo analysis when preference uncertainty exists for one or more decision makers (DMs) in a strategic conflict. This research aims at integrating two expansions of the graph model for conflict resolution, preference uncertainty and status quo analysis, into a unified framework. Preference uncertainty and status quo analysis were recently developed to enhance the applicability of the graph model by accommodating uncertainty in DMs' preferences and addressing the dynamics of conflict. This paper combines preference uncertainty and status quo analysis together to further improve and strengthen the flexibility of the graph model in modelling and analysis. An environmental conflict is analyzed using this algorithm to demonstrate how the new development can be applied
