In this paper, a new approach to coprocessing of radar coherence and spectral optical data is proposed to gain reliability of classification for some types of earth covers. The enhanced correlation between the HH-VV coherence and the soil brightness index, as well as between the HH-VV coherence and the green vegetation index, calculated with the use of radar and optical images was noticed, being further applied to reach this goal. |
