Title
Programmable time-multiplexed SC filters without dynamic range degradation
Abstract
A design technique for programmable time multiplexed (TM) switched-capacitor (SC) filters, is described. Instead of relying on the traditional digitally programmable capacitor arrays (DPCAs) to modify the system responses, the programmability is based on controlling the effective sampling frequency per channel separately. This approach prevents the dynamic range degradation, which is an important design target, particularly in low-voltage applications. Experimental results obtained from a programmable TM SC filter bank breadboard prototype are shown
