Title
Observation of extended targets with antenna arrays
Abstract
Moments of the scattering function are a superb set of parameters representing an extended radar target. This set perfectly matches the adopted radar observation sequence (detection, position estimation, resolution, recognition and tracking). The problem of the moment estimation in radar systems with antenna arrays is considered.
