Title
Efficient computation schemes and bit-serial architectures for normalized LMS adaptive filtering in audio applications
Abstract
Efficient calculation schemes are developed for the normalized LMS adaptive filtering. The division for normalization and the multiplication for coefficient adaptation are avoided without causing noticeable performance reduction. The proposed computation schemes are realized by bit-serial architectures which can easily satisfy the speed requirement of audio applications
