Title
Adaptive Communication Agent for Crisis Management System
Abstract
In group-wide collaborative environments, managing the adaptive communication is a challenging task. It implies the monitoring of sudden change in the activities while providing a solution to maintain the connection with the available resources. The work proposed here is to design an embedded software agent called Communication Agent (CA) that supports autonomic computing to ensure reliable communications among the smart devices and Autonomous Ground vehicles (AGV). This issue is addressed within the framework of a wireless environment in the context of Crisis Management Systems (CMS). The paper focuses the autonomic functionalities of CA that are used to monitor, analyze, plan, and execute the adaptive mechanisms if there is an abrupt change in the environment.
