Abstract | ||

An enhanced algorithm for the suppression of ICI due to the joint presence of carrier frequency offset and phase noise is proposed. Originally developed for mitigation of ICI due phase noise only, the algorithm is modified to also efficiently mitigate ICI due to carrier offset with a minimal increase in complexity. The technique performance is verified by simulations of a DVB-T2 receiver performance in the presence of a basic free-running oscillator. Algorithm implementation and trade-off procedures are outlined for use with a practical charge-pump PLL synthesizer. |
