Title
3-D array configuration using multiple regular tetrahedra for high-resolution 2-D DOA estimation
Abstract
This paper presents a novel 3-D array configuration using multiple regular tetrahedra which enables high resolution 2-D DOA estimation. The proposed array configuration has better DOA estimation performance as that of the conventional 3-D array configuration for uncorrelated waves, and can be rear-ranged into the cuboid array configurationwhich can estimate DOAs of correlated waves. Performance of the proposed 3-D array configuration is evaluated through a computer simulation.
