Abstract | ||

Optically phase-locked lasers with low phase noise have the potential of being used in many RF photonic applications. In this paper, we review the work performed to offer high performance, robust and automated phase-locking solutions using semiconductor lasers. Implementation using a silicon photonic chip is presented. |
