Impact of WDM channel spacing on millimeter-wave wireless access using wireless coherent radio-over-fiber (CRoF) channels
Abstract
Impact of channel spacing in a WDM network on the performance of wireless channels selected by the coherent optical heterodyne radio-over-fiber approach. Experimental demonstration shows a penalty of about ∼1 dB per 5 GHz decreased channel spacing down to a channel spacing of 15 GHz and a penalty of ∼2 dB between 15 GHz and 10 GHz channel spacing.
