Abstract | ||

In this study license plate localization and segmentation algorithm has been proposed. The method was formed by implementing different image operations. All the threshold values used here were empirically determined. A database was created by shooting the pictures of 210 different vehicles and each of which was employed to test the proposed approach. It was shown that performance rate of 92.86% was achieved. |
