A constrained affine-projection (CAP) adaptive-filtering algorithm is proposed. Unlike some other recent CAP algorithms, the new algorithm produces an unbiased output in applications where the desired signal is not available or a desired signal is not required. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm offers reduced steady-state misalignment relative to the constrained normalized least-mean-squares algorithm as well as some recent CAP algorithms while maintaining their fast convergence. |
