Abstract | ||

In MZI, due to the application of the voltage across electrode present in one of the arms, the electric field changes, hence, phase change occurs. Depending upon the phase change introduced, the signal shifts from one waveguide to the another waveguide. In this paper, we describe the detailed description of 1×8 signal router, using cascading Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI), and its construction using the beam propagation method. |
