Title
Detecting Changes in Terrorism Networks: A Perspective of Multi-Meta-Network Modeling
Abstract
This article studies the method to transform the terrorism organization into multi-meta-networks, including meta-network of agent (terrorist), knowledge, resource and task. Then compress the huge amount of measures into a global parameter which is a reasonable representative of the network by using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Dynamic network analysis is used to get the time series of the global parameters and Statistics Process Control (SPC) chart to monitor the abnormal changes. Finally, this methodology is illustrated using data set of Al-Qaeda from the open source.
