Title
Neurofuzzy Nets For South Atlantic Monthly Temperature Atlases Production
Abstract
Temperature is one of the most important properties of seawater. Temperature and salinity control seawater density, which is the main factor that governs the vertical movement of the oceans. A great number of oceanographically data in a Brazilian maritime area of interest has been collected, however, the data are not distributed uniformly so it is impossible to elaborate atlases of temperature distribution with satisfactory resolution. This work aims at using neurofuzzy nets techniques to generate a mesh with appropriate resolution, constituting digital atlases of temperature for the South Atlantic.
