Stability, coherent spiking and synchronization in noisy excitable systems with coupling and internal delays
Abstract
•System of excitable units subjected to two forms of noise and delays is studied.•It is demonstrated that the internal delay drive the unit away from the main bifurcation.•Loss of frequency synchronization under external noise is demonstrated.•Existence of characteristic regimes of entrainment is studied.•Phase synchronization achieved for noise-induced and delay-driven modes is demonstrated.
