Title
A Novel Channel Estimation Scheme For Ieee 802.11p In Vanet
Abstract
with the trend of IT convergence, more and more communication systems developed under high mobility environments. Vehicular communications enable a number of telematics and infotainment applications in the vehicular domain to serve users. To achieve this goal, IEEE 802.11p was standardized for the vehicular communications systems. In this report, we propose a novel channel estimation scheme named Frequency Linear-Averaged Data Pilot Decision-Directed Channel Estimation scheme (FLDP), which fully utilizes the Long Training symbols to estimate the initial channel response, then subsequent data symbols are estimated one by one in a specified order, then using Weighted Averaging method to make the channel response value accuracy. Finally, Analysis and simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme has a good performance in high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) region and mean square error (MSE) region.
