Content delivery between various devices in the wireless environment is increasing rapidly due to the increasing number of mobile devices and recent advances in wireless transmission technologies. One of the issues that need to be resolved in this situation is timely and fast delivery of the requested content to maximize user satisfaction. Content-Centric Networking (CCN) can be considered as an effective way to resolve this issue. CCN is a new networking paradigm for providing more efficient, scalable, secure, and collaborative communications compared to the traditional host-centric networking paradigm. In this paper, we present a CCN-based mechanism for fast content delivery in wireless networks and analyze its performance in terms of transmission efficiency. |
